The voice answering Melanite's question had her still, her face turning to look as she slowly stood and listened to Blood. She spoke no words, her face remaining calm but his words hurt and her eyes held more sadness than she could ever explain with actions or words. Aqua felt her hand twitch as Blood extended his hand out to both of them though she convinced herself for a split second that it was for her and not for the other gem that is until Blood continued to speak. He was right, they had both made mistakes but he would never see the war from her side and no matter how she had tried to make him understand, it seemed impossible. She hadn't wanted to fight either but she would do what she had to so she could protect this world and the ones by her side. It didn't mean that she didn't want new gems to be made or that she held humans in higher regard but this was their home and they invaded it. It wasn't the same as before and humans themselves were different. They held something special that could not be explained.

Aquamarine was shocked to see his smile or even one focused at her no matter how long it lasted which made her feelings pull too the past with that sweet flutter of emotion before it came crashing to a halt. The pain filled her once more as Blood questioned his wonder on what made the humans so special and probably to her but she couldn't focus. She wanted to push this horrible feeling away that just kept coming back every time Blood was near. It was fluttering, anger, hurt, and sadness with a bit of wishing but for what she didn't want to believe in. She curled her arms around herself, barely listening until she heard that he would be leaving. Panic started to rise and she moved forward a few step but stopped when she realized he was already gone. She didn't trust Bloodstone and things couldn't go back to the way they were and she knew this but it didn't lessen the pain.[color=7bcdc8]"I wanted you to come with me..."[/color] Aqua stated barely above a whisper but filled with complete anguish.

That was her thoughts as she looked to the young new gem, tears in her eyes as the look of this gem was almost how she was feeling.
