[@Rumplestiltskin] I know it should, but I've only seen ONE fictional work that has that actually happen in a noticeable manner -- teleportation creates an audible pop for small items or a loud bang for something the size of a person, and a small gust of air.

Aslo when I say proportional, size is probably the deciding factor, but I think mass should play a role too.
