Background: [color=6ecff6]Deraen doesn't talk about his past, and little is known of his origins other than that he was a deserter from his native military. In Andalite society he ranks in the lowest of the low, and has been convicted of treason. To return to his home world would be a death sentence, thus he has chosen to live his life in exile. Occasionally his stories suggest he may be guilty of worse crimes, but he is so vague that nothing can be said for certain.

He started out his fugitive life as a spare parts trafficker, and today he's a fairly well-known and (mostly) respected arms dealer, specializing in handheld short-and-long ranged guns, explosives, and gasses.[/color] 

Personality: [color=6ecff6]Deraen carries his Andalite arrogance with him wherever he goes, he is haughty and thinks very highly of himself in spite of his record. He's not exactly cruel but you wouldn't say he was kind either. He is very literal and has absolutely no sense of humor, however the extent of his anti-humor is sometimes amusing. He's honest and, for the most part, keeps his word. Right and wrong do not concern him as much as doing what is necessary to accomplish his goals. He's slightly claustrophobic and enclosed spaces make him uncomfortable.[/color]

- A collection of various plasma, particle, and projectile weapons; his favorite being the [i]shredder[/i] which, similar to a phaser, can be set low to stun or high to disintegrate; He's really quite fond of anything he can use to point and shoot

[color=6ecff6]Intended for a crew of two Andalites, the Elite Fighter is equipped with shield, cloaking technology and FTL engines. While it is not designed for long-term occupation, Deraen has modified some of its components to extend the life-support system in order to suit his needs. The ship is armed with two long-range [i]shredder[/i] canons and four short-range plasma guns.

[color=6ecff6]*Note: [i]Andalites use morphing technology much differently than how it was used in the [/i]Animorphs[i] series. Originally it was a tool for spies and while all military personnel are required to train in on it, it's actually not used very often due to the fact that Andalites consider their bodies to be ideal. Deraen personally has never used it beyond training and for the most part forgotten that he even has it. [/i][/color][/hider]
