Norvandell wasn't sure what he had been expecting when he walked through that portal, but he hadn't been expecting this. Placed in the center of the group, he spread his winds and lifted himself upward to examine his surroundings. Evidently, they were being attacked from multiple sides, and by these faceless creatures as well. What the heck were they, anyway? They certainly weren't creatures he was familiar with. Well, whatever they were, they weren't going to last long. Arrows had been fired at Norvandell and the group, and Norvandell raised his weapon to defend himself. However, a transparent barrier blocked the arrows and reflected them back. Well, that's one annoyance dealt with. Norvandell looked around, and then flew over to the orcs on the right. Norvanfell hovered over them, looking down on the orcs who tried to reach him with their swords. His only response to their vain efforts was to point his hand down and shoot a stream of fire into the group. The orcs went into a state of panic, running around, trying to beat away the flames, but all of them soon perished. Norvandell laughed maniacally as the deed was done, enjoying their torment and pain.
