Background: The oldest of 3 children by about 2 years, he was actually conceived out of wedlock not long after his parents first met, however they married several months before he was born, raised in a primarily Faunus village northeast of Vale, he spent most of his life never seeing a human besides his father, Grey. As he did grow up a tribal, Garen went through a traditional challenge of the vilage, and when he was 13 survived for one week on his own with no food or weapons, managing to slay 32 Grimm in that span, and recieved one symbolic tattoo for each. Lacking the physical build needed for heavier weapons, he elected to opt for a somewhat atypical armament, and by the time of his 17th birthday, he had effectively mastered the use of throwing knives, gaining enough proficiency using his semblance to render typically mediocre weapons into deadly tools against the Grimm. not long after his 17th birthday, he moved from his home village along with his parents, younger siblings, and 3 cousins. the 4 older cousins enrolled at Beacon.
Personality: Extremely prideful by nature but good-hearted, not particularly interested in social interaction. Strong degree of self control and can be a bit uptight at times, cares greatly for his parents and younger siblings. Highly intelligent but suffers academically due to lack of formal education. What Garen lacks in social and academic skill he makes up for in tactical cunning, having grown up outside the kingdom, he was groomed from childhood to be the leader of his home village’s guard which has lead to his development of strong leadership instincts.

Background: Second youngest member of team WGRN, born in the same village as his cousins which was inhabited almost entirely by faunus. suffers from a temper that has followed all his life and which was inherited from his father. At the age of 7 he began training to become a guardsmen for his home village, utilizing his semblance to the fullest by training in weapons which can be utilized well when in a rage. At the age of 15 he completed the villages traditional trial to become a full warrior, receiving his snake tattoo as a symbol of completing the task. A year later he moved to Vale along with his aunt, uncle, and several cousins where he enrolled at Beacon alongside his similarly ages cousins Garen, Baruq, and Nyx. Agrus suffered abysmal written scores but highest marks in all forms of combat, being placed in remedial classes to make up for his lack of academic merit. At initiation he was partnered with his cousin Nyx through careful advanced planning, and was placed on team WGRN alongside Garen and Baruq.
Personality: During his early years, Agrus was extremely foul tempered and quick to become violent, however as the years passed he learned to temper that natural rage and use it to his advantage, concentrating on a protective stance, acting in the best interests of his friends
and family. In spite of holding his anger with greater caution, he will still resort to violence and brute force more often than reason, though backing himself with resolve instead of hatred.
Though he has never been involved in a romantic relationship, he does hold strong feelings for a foreign student named Kanika Rutto who he met during the Vytal Festival, though he tends to express his attraction through physical and verbal conflict over more traditional forms of flirtation, this is returned in full force.

Background: In spite of being the oldest member of his team, Baruq tends to be one of the more passive, allowing his younger cousin Garen take the lead and standing back to play support. During his early life, Baruq often chose to play second to his slightly younger sister and two cousins. Having grown up in a fairly isolated region, his exposure to technology was limited, however he always held a natural affinity for machines, learning to maintain the his father’s forge as a child alongside learning the art of blacksmithing itself. Though he rarely had opportunities to work with anything more complex than a pair of scales, his natural intuition for machines of all types truly became known when, within days of unlocking his aura, when his semblance manifested and he learned to take apart and rebuild his uncles weapon, a transforming axe that is complex even by huntsman’s standards, within the day..
Since he was raised in a region not protected by the kingdoms, Baruq learned to fight even as a child, and paired those skills to his training at the forge to become a powerful warrior, using his naturally superior strength and familiarity with the tools of his trade to constantly improve, up to the point where he was accepted into Beacon on primarily combat scores at the age of 17, alongside his younger sister and two cousins.
Personality: In spite of his admittedly brutish appearance, Baruq is highly intelligent and methodical with a natural affinity for machines and technology. Due to spending his early life working a forge with his father he has learned to operate on minimal sleep, which is often required when smelting steel in a crucible.
