[@HaltingBlooper]Gah, I'm like this far much more than I would ever care to admit. 

I like pairing up characters, especially crazy pairings that could never happen normally. I love it because it challenges me to take what the original creator thought up, and find my own way to string the characters together. It doesn't even need to be romantic pairings, friendship, familial figures and so fourth, it's all a big lovely puzzle to me.

On a second, funnier note, I can't stop imagining Jasper as a reverse Mulan, and Peridot is her Mushu
