Bio: When she was 11, Kat moved with her family to Nowhere after her mother, a philosophy professor, got what was supposed to be a short-term position at the local university. After two years, it was clear the Brennans weren't leaving any time soon, and the family (Kat, her mother, her father, and her nan) settled in for the long haul. Kat's teachers always told her that if she applied herself more in her studies, she too could have the potential of her lauded mother. Kat found that to be rubbish, though she still likes practicing her algebra. Kat finds that her brash personality makes it hard for her to make friends, as people are usually too intimidated by her penchant for unfiltered cigarettes and steel-toed boots.
