Yes but remember, he was already known as a respected Guardian already. He sorta already earned that respect. Alex has not served any previous Summoner, or accomplished a heroic task compared to him so yeah xD

So Alex feels she doesn't deserve the right to ask because she hasn't earned it like Auron has. If she did what Auron did, then yes. But she hasn't xD
