Time Lord [@Crimson Raven] "time Lord is as true a name as my true name. It's the name I've worn for ten years. I've worn it longer then my birth name. So, in a way it isn't a false name" Time Lord said with amusement. "I'm only a young boy, but I was taught to tell the truth. Should I have gone up to you and said You aren't strange? No, because then I wouldn't be able to ask just...how old you are. Wait. let me rephrase that. When was your birth year?" Time Lord expected a false answer. But then, he would know the mans worth. He wondered what would happen if he cast the time event spell, if he'd see anything that could help him, or if the mans life had just been insignificant, and knew nothing of important. "maybe this would help you to answer truthfully. I am a chronologist. I search history for answers to what happened with the dragons, among other things. I search for answers, for clues and for insights. I have learned a lot, and know more then men thrice my age. I merely...hope you could answer some questions"
Merlina Vs Jacob Final After the first blast hit him, a screech reached out, and he hit the ground with a thud, and had to revert to his human form. It took him a long moment to get up. Too long He thought, and he was forced to lean against the back wall, coughing. He managed to get out of the way of the next attack, but when Merlina charged to grab him, he knew he had no way of getting out of the way. "Grand Animal Soul: Komodo Dragon!" He transformed again, and as she came closer he turned quickly, trying to whip her with his tail as hard as he could. His tail went through the fire of her avatar form and smacked her leg. As it did it made a sickening crunch and she let out a screech that could shatter glass. She moved backwards for a second and realized her leg was now broken. She had never faced this much power besides the captain and bel in a long time. Though she hadn't fought any of her team mates either cause she was warned not to. With her leg broken but the avatar form trying to knit the bone back together she heard the crystal of her teammates and the sound of cannon fire cheering her on. With some vigor now she spewed flame into a circle around him and then moved in just out of biting, striking and maybe even lunging range. She was tired but she needed to try to keep it up and keep him in his fire circle that ran up the wall and onto the field. Jacob panted, he frantically looked for a way out as he turned back into his human form, exhausted. He had landed a blow, but she didn't go down. How much longer was the time limit? This would have to be his last transformation, he wouldn't have the magic power left for another. "Grand Animal Soul: Spitting Serpent!" He transformed into a large snake again, and he began spitting globs of venom at Merlina whenever he got a chance. He didn't even try to breach the circle of flame forming around him. He wouldn't be able to make it through before he would have to give up to his opponent, which he refused to do. Merlina was becoming exhausted but it seemed that so was her opponent. This would be end very close or both of them dropping at the same time. The poison he had shot at her for the first couple of times didn't seem to reach her and all she did was move back and fired off a couple of shots countering the next couple of shots and then she took a couple on her body. She finally landed and her avatar form fell. Merlina staggered for a second then bent over to pick up three or four of the fire flowers that her tears produced. Once picked the flame on them lowered to a shimmering aura. Merlina ate them one by one and then she stood straight up again. She felt a little better but it didn't replace much of her magic power. All she might have to do was to wait it out. He could keep firing poison that might not reach her but he didn't seem like he was going to be coming out of those flames. She then looked around at all the fires that dotted the area. She laughed a bit and then looked back at her opponent. "There is no use in trying to talk you into anything. So I'm pretty sure we aren't going to give into each other and you a great oppoent. You will be amazing Guild Master. Also your kinda cute so lets just wait this one out till the time runs out or shake hands and walk away friends. Either way its a draw. If you wanna fight some more then we can. I have enough fire flowers around here and fire to keep it up for the time limit to run out. So what will it be?" She knew what he would probably say but she only spoke the truth. Jacob reverted, unable to hold his form anyone, and Glanced about, trying to locate Merlina. When he talked, it was as if he was trying not to aggravate the sores in his mouth. "Hey, at this point, I'm willing to take a draw. I'm exhausted, and I need to get these burns treated. And... Th-thanks for calling me cute, I'm sorry to say I haven't really got a good look at you though." He rubbed the back of his head, and backed up a few steps, unbalanced. After a moment, his eyes focused, and he sat down cross legged where he was, to keep from falling over. "So, let's shake hands and hope we never end up on opposite sides of a fight again. And I left an anti-venom with my teammates, if you need that." Jacob half didn't like having to agree to a draw, but he was sure he'd lose if they went on to the time limit. That was something he'd need to work on, magic power. "Partial Takeover: Raven!" The two wings formed and folded against his back, both jet black and definitely large enough to lift him up should that be where he wants to go. Merlina smiled and walked over the the circle of fire. "Its ok that you didn't get a good look at me. She said a she walked into the flames. The flames seemed to be aborbed into her body and the circle closed on her as she knelt next to him to his hand and shook it. "You can look at me all you want now and no need to worry about those burns I can take care of that." She said and leaned in still holding his hand and kissed him. While doing so she would push a small bit of a different enzyme into his mouth that would taste like summer berries. The enzyme would then coat his mouth and throat, and the burns would healed with in minutes with no pain of them. She held the kiss for a second longer then broke it as she put her arm under his wings and hoisted him up off his feet. "There is more where that came from." She said as she winked at him. "But you can think about that later. Lets show the crowd that we kissed and made up. Shall we? She joke a little and giggled to herself as she tried to get him to walk with her. Jacob nodded, looking his now former opponent over, and gladly shook her hand back. "Tha-" When she kissed him, his mind shut down for a moment. That was new, and unexpected. He gave her a blank look as the injuries in his mouth started to heal, and he shakily stood up as she helped her. "That... Was unexpected..." He murmured softly as he walked with her, still a tad confused. "Yeah, kissed and made up... You wanna catch a drink later?" He glanced at the crowd before turning his attention back to Merlina. "Preferably before the end of the games, since I have to go immediately when they're over." He said to her. Why the hell are we going for Melina anyway? She's been gone for years. He thought to himself, waiting for her response. She looked at him as they walked to the center of the arena. "A drink would be nice. Anytime during the games and after no matter where I am. Send me a letter and we will find a time to meet." She smiled at him. She did genially like him and wanted them to no more be enemies. She then turned to the crowd and waved her hand that wasn't helping him. The crowd roared and then she waited to hear the announcer.
