I spawned in a bunch of shinys from PokeGen back in Gen 4-5 and would put them at level 5 and play the whole game with my dream team, it was a great time.

The only legit shiny I ever got was a Shiny Tentecruel in Pokemon Pearl, it was crazy since I never finished the game and the chance of finding a shiny without a Shiny Charm is 1/1000, but I hate Tentecruel and already had my dream shiny team so he just sat in the box. :(
