Being born a noble, much was expected of Cilla in regards of one day becoming a Lady and therefore, Cilla became very good at acting one way around others, hiding her true self to keep things from getting complicated. However upon meeting her first husband, Toby, Cilla began to break that shell and proved to her family that she wasn't a force to be reckoned with and that she would get what she wanted by getting pregnant solely for the purpose to be able to marry Toby. Her heartbreak brought on by Toby's lack of loyalty only pushed her inner-feelings forward, causing her to abruptly leave home to find a new life for herself showing just how selfish she can sometimes be. Toby's claim that Cilla had lost the beauty in which she once had drove Cilla into an obsession to reclaim that youthful glow her aging body had been starting to lose but even then it wasn't enough. Even in the present, Cilla grows overly jealous of those who pose a threat to her beauty, wanting to be "the fairest of them all" in an attempt to keep the wound of Toby's words sealed. This obsession has even pushed her to murderous insanity by trying to kill her own step-daughter to keep her title as such secure even though she had grown to love Snow as her own daughter. Though despite her insanity, Cilla is also extremely intelligent and calculating, wanting to ensure that she won't overlook anything in order to make her plans an absolute success. She plots quietly, oftentimes brooding over one thing or the other, pacing, until a solution begins to form in her mind in which she becomes almost overly boisterous and gleeful as she begins to put more work into her plan, anxious to put it to action. Such plans don't always involve ridding others of their beauty, however, as Cilla also enjoys watching others suffer. She soaks in a certain "high" watching as others endure hardships that she puts upon them, knowing that they are suffering as she once suffered in what felt like lifetimes ago as it somehow helps to absolve the pain that left a permanent mark upon her heart. Her loyalties lay with her mood and though she would never willingly betray someone's trust, she has crossed that line many times before to people she had been closest to in order to preserve her own heart. She likes to believe that she is a good mother, but her track record of abandoning her son in The Pride Lands (even though later writing to him almost daily since) and trying to kill her step-daughter don't add up to what she believes herself to be and tends to ignore these things about her and acts like they never happened, especially when in the company of her son who now resides in her castle as her Huntsman. On the measure of friendship, Cilla only has a very small handful of people she can call such however her favored companion has always been Morgana and seeks her approval in almost all things despite the difference in age. Skills: First and foremost, Cilla has been trained in the art of dark magic and witchcraft and excels at both however tends to lean more towards her uses of potions, alchemy and enchantments rather than rely on her own physical stamina and strength to have her magic pulled from her each time she uses it. She has nearly perfected the act of disguise within her magic as she uses it to keep herself looking young and beautiful, as well as using it for other things like disguising dangerous objects to look harmless and so on. Perhaps one of the most notable enchantments is her magic mirror in which she used the heart of her first husband to "recreate" as a spirit within the mirror itself as a companion to fill the lonely nights - just as things had been between herself and Toby before she caught him cheating. Apart from magic, Cilla has an adept mind; highly intelligent and calculating as her obsession for physical perfection also branched out to other aspects in her life in how she does everything. And although Cilla now has magic at her disposal, being raised a hard-working noble woman has taught her the skills of cooking, cleaning, sewing and so on which she likes to do if the time allows it, always wanting to be actively busy doing something and liking the feeling of having accomplished something on her own. Biography (Before Earth): Priscilla was born into a Noble family within The Pride Lands and learned very quickly what it was to be a Lady. She helped her mother to run the house, taking her fair share of the chores such as cooking and cleaning, tending the gardens, washing and stitching clothing and so on. By the time she was fourteen, her father began to have her meet with suitors, most of which were nearly twenty years her senior. Although she didn't mind the attention from the older (wealthy) gentlemen as they were keen to shower her with gifts and comment on her young beauty, Priscilla wasn't content with the idea of settling down with any of them; there was just something missing. But then Priscilla met Toby - a young man who caught her attention one evening when she got up from her bed and found him in the larder, stealing food from them. Toby had been born and brandished a "Hyena"; the worst kind of Pride Landian. King Ahadi enforced the segregation between the two kinds of people within The Pride Lands that had been organized centuries back all the way to the date The Pride Lands became established. The Hyenas, as they were labeled, were the "dirty" sort of people who didn't mind spilling a little blood if it meant they could get what they want. They were thieves, crooks, scavengers, and had no place in royalty and so a hierarchy was formed, seeing to it that the Hyenas never rose in position and kept their place in the outskirts of the cities or within the slums. The penalty for a Hyena stealing from a noble was death, but Priscilla paid the law no heed and instead befriended him, charmed by his dashing good looks and the overall idea of going against what she knew to be proper. Friendship blossomed into romance, and at the age of sixteen, Priscilla couldn't take their secret relationship any longer and attempted to introduce him to her parents. They were absolutely outraged, unable to look past the fact that he was a Hyena and refused to get to know any more about him. After forbidding Priscilla to ever see Toby again, her father became more adamant than ever about finding the proper suitor for her, but Priscilla had other ideas about her future. Knowing just how serious her father was about seeing her married, Priscilla did the one thing she knew that would keep any and all suitors at arm's length upon the topic of marriage. She became pregnant with Toby's child. Disgusted, humiliated, and overall having no idea how to handle the situation, Priscilla was disowned from her home and forced to live the life of a Hyena with Toby on the outskirts of the city, only able to get glimpses of the life she once had from the outside. At seventeen, and now going only by her shortened name, Cilla gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy. To honor her new husband, Cilla named the boy in the ancient language of The Pride Lands, Shaba - after the color of his darker, beautiful skin he inherited from his father, which is translated to Copper. Going against her parent's wishes, Cilla returned back to their home, begging and pleading for them just to meet their new grandson. It wasn't until two years later that her efforts bared fruit as her mother, without the knowledge of her father, finally agreed to meet the boy and instantly fell in love. After another year and much convincing on Cilla's mother's part, her father agreed to meet the boy and though he wasn't as keen on him as her mother, finally agreed to allow Cilla, Shaba and Toby live under their roof and granted Cilla and Shaba their rightful heritage of noble. Toby, however, was not granted such luxuries as he was still seen and considered a Hyena, so a deal was made that if he were to live within their home, he would take on the role as a servant. The years wore on, and by the time Shaba was seven, by his noble linage was granted an opportunity to begin training as a soldier for King Ahadi himself. So without the little one to look after most hours of the day, Cilla was able to return to her usual duties of helping her mother to run the home just as things would and should of been from the start. However things changed almost drastically a handful of years later when upon her thirtieth birthday, Cilla returned to her home in search for her husband only to find him with his pants down and a maid's skirts hiked up. After the initial outburst was over with, Cilla simply asked Toby "Why?" in which his response was simply and without much effort, "You're starting to look old, Cilla. Where there once was abundant beauty, now only holds reminder of what once was." Cilla knew then that she could no longer remain in The Pride Lands, unable to bare the shame that would surely come from her parents who didn't approve of their relationship to begin with. However, Cilla knew that she wouldn't be able to pull her thirteen year-old son from his promising future in the King's army so after going to the barracks to see him one last time, refusing to let on that anything was wrong, Cilla left, hoping to have a better future in The Moors. The first year in the Moors found Cilla to be under the care of the sorceress Maleficent who coincidentally was in need of an assistant. Claiming that there was hidden potential within Cilla, Maleficent took her under her wing and began to unlock the hidden powers nesting inside of her by getting to the root of her heartache. Cilla took a certain shine to the dark magic, however she really excelled at potions and enchantments and favored them above all else. It was with her first successful potion that Cilla was able to figuratively turn back time and restore the youthful glow Toby claimed that she had lost over the years, finding that she had suddenly became obsessed with making herself the most beautiful woman in all the realms in hopes that Toby would take her back. The first potion wasn't enough, and so a year of trying over and over again, Cilla finally became confident enough to return to The Pride Lands and confront her cheating husband. However, once Cilla came face to face with Toby, the darkness that Maleficent had pulled out of her came to front and anger overtook her. Cilla hadn't even realized she had killed Toby until the feeble beating of his heart she held within her hand began to wane though once what she had done began to settle in her mind, she could only manage a single smile before returning to The Moors where she wished to continue her training. When arriving back to the Moors, however, there was another (younger, prettier) woman who seemed to have taken her place, though it was quickly explained that Lady Morgana had simply been away on business and had just returned to also continue her training as she would one day take Maleficent's place. At first Cilla felt nothing for Morgana than utter jealousy, but quickly found an ally in her as time passed and eventually even a friend. In fact, it was Morgana who knew of a King in search of a wife and arranged a meeting between the two of them. Not a few months later, Cilla found herself once more getting married and though it wasn't for love as it had been the first time, the very idea of having her own Kingdom to rule was just too much to pass up and just as it had been when she was younger, the King never squandered an opportunity to comment on her beauty. The small fact that the King had a child of his own, a darling girl named Snow, didn't even begin to phase her until much later, believing that Snow and her son Shaba would one day meet and become good friends although those plans were put on hold as the King had died unexpectedly. She kept her magic secret from her new family, unsure of how they would take to her if they knew anything more than what she showed on the outside. It was only a year after her marriage when Cilla then decided to do something with Toby's heart which she kept as both a trophy and a reminder of sorts. She knew she couldn't truly part with him, but the preservation spells were becoming harder and harder to keep up on, so Cilla enchanted a mirror gifted to her by her newest husband and using the heart, "brought Toby back" by binding the fragments of what was left to him to the mirror and with it, created a companion she could talk to when she became lonely. It was because of this enchanted mirror that had Toby's "spirit" floating around in it, did Cilla learn about Snow White's increasing beauty. Not knowing what to do, Cilla turned to her one and only true friend, and asked Morgana for advice. Their time apart brought upon a change most unexpected of Morgana. Maleficent had finally succumbed to death, and in mourning, Morgana became something almost unrecognizable but deep down, Cilla could still feel the woman she knew and rekindled the friendship that time had put distance between. So after some time, Cilla took the newest Maleficent's advice and hired a huntress from Province to kill Snow White. Although Belle, the hired hand, had failed and attempted to lie to Cilla by bringing back the heart of a stag instead, Cilla could rest somewhat easily knowing now that Snow was lost somewhere in the woods where she would surely perish. So Cilla took over the Kingdom as her own, to rule in the way she saw fit and came out openly as a sorceress. She kept in almost constant contact with her son, and as of just a few short years ago, Shaba had left The Pride Lands to come and live with her, wishing to be her Huntsman rather than serve King Scar any longer. Cilla believes the decision her son made to be an act of his love and loyalty to her, but what Cilla doesn't know is that his motives are far, far beyond her comprehension. Biography (Life On Earth): Cilla has never been to Earth and does not know of it's existence, however in spending time with Lady Morgana as friends before she became Maleficent, she shared stories with Cilla that lead her to believe that this fantasy world may be just a bit more than just stories. Other: Cilla has a pet raven she keeps close to her - a forever companion that allows for her to send and receive messages from her son amongst other things.
