[/quote] hmm I havn't played ff13 past 5 minutes soo I think you'll be fine with those. Basically what i see is you have 6 spells, the 3 basic (F,T,B), 1 advanced (Aero), and 2 ff13 (Firespark and Ice Storm). You may use Aero offensively or defensively, but you can't switch between them. Personally I think Aero as a defense is better because you can buff your allies while you have Ice Storm for offensive. :) if this was a stats game then 6 spells would be waay op for a starting character. But it's not so it's no big deal.
