Ryan sat in the pick-up truck in silence, his foot tapping the floor of the vehicle as it drove over the reflective, white snow. After the first half hour though, the hum of the engine and the rocking of the vehicle began to put Ryan to sleep. He struggled to stay awake, but it only took a couple minutes before his head slumped to the side to rest on his shoulder and his eyes closed. The feeling of the Toyota beginning to slow down as it approached the small Coloradan town was what finally woke Ryan from his slumber. [i]Gonna have to stop falling asleep with Ace around.
