Dr. Gabriel Cole//ICARUS
==~== Gabriel had to resort to flying to get his mind off of... everything. As it so happened, however, the flying just gave him more time to consider the failings of the evening, especially now that he could review the AEGIS footage. Riots everywhere (though, to be fair, that part wasn't actually his fault), Krimson had gotten away, he'd caused thousands in property damage for basically nothing, and Maverick... well. The less he thought about how that conversation had gone, the better. He sighed, scanning through the AEGIS system, trying to find someplace where he could put his talents to good use. Come on. Give me someplace where I can actually do some good tonight. Make me believe this night wasn't a total failure... Luckily, he didn't have to look long. A signal was tripped in Sherman Square, not far from where he was. Convenient. Again. Let's just hope it's not as "convenient" as last time. He pulled up footage from an AEGIS drone in the area. "Daedalus, scan the buildings. Thermal, x-ray, phase, all of it- what tripped us?" "phase signature, sir. we have meta activity in one of the buildings... here." The footage switched to thermal, zooming in on the source of the phase signature in question. Two bodies, one much larger than the other, stood facing each other. "the larger signal is the source of the phase signature. it's difficult to identify meta abilities from this distance, but i would assume modified strength and durability, at minimum. do be careful if you plan on fighting in close quarters." "Thanks, Daedalus. I can take it from here." He turned on the speed, then, zooming toward the source of the signal, planning his mode of ingress. He couldn't just smash through a wall, and trying to get in through the front door would take too long. Thankfully, something caught his eye as he approached the outside of the apartment in question. A window was open. He smiled, and made a beeline for the open window, smoothly gliding inside, before turning toward the signal in question. Yep. That guy is certainly big. And a meta. Not a good combination in most cases. He landed gently, then, casual as can be, strolled out of the room, drawing the large man's attention (and probably the girl's, too). He waved brightly before speaking. "I know this is rather hypocritical of me to say, but you really shouldn't be here, sir. Leave. Now." Configure: Hex-Feather Modules- SNIPER. The Hex-Feathers floated into a tight formation over his shoulders, all trained on the large man, glowing ominously as though to punctuate Gabriel's suggestion.
