[@Loony] Hm yeah I thought for a second that maybe I should ask if camel spiders even are where you're from.  I just sort of included them in animals that would probably like my shadow but I'm not sure how I'd feel having them close to me for very long.  I mean, I know they wouldn't bite for no reason but I'd be slightly concerned that one would find my leg a good resting spot and get startled if I started to move.  Also random fun fact, one of the characters I had for my RP which shall never be made was an incredulous camel spider who lived far enough out that they had no idea a gem invasion had taken place.
