"Marina-that's my name!" Marina replied a little too quickly, and WAY too enthusiastically. She paused for a second. She wondered if a boy like Titus could really be interested in her...he could have anyone. And that anyone was NOT likely too be her. She gritted her teeth, annoyed that her brain liked to rush into things. She silently wished she hadn't come on strong- I mean, it's the first day of school! There's still plenty of time.

Marina took a deep breath and told Titus "To be honest, I wasn't done relaxing. But here we are, I guess- I mean here I am!" Marina gave the world's most awkward nervous giggle and looked Titus in the eyes.
