I didn't mean to say it was about Alex. And yes, I did state my thoughts on a character. That's just how I am. That's how most people are. They judge, they trivilize, etc.

I stated what did happen.

He asked to go.

Alex did not ask to go.

Those are the facts. 

Is there more to it than that? Yes. But those facts are still there.

I'm sorry I didn't mean any offense, but I just state what I think on characters. Be it in a unfair sense or not. And for characters who's plot isn't fully fleshed out yet, yes. That's going to happen.
