Why couldn't the chocobo ride on the dragon, [@Evanist]? With dragons being the size of a barn, the only problem the chocobo might have is panicing a bit and shoving its claws into Jo-Anne's back, causing her some damage. But as long as it doesn't kill her, she would still transport it.
