Backstory:

If one is to understand their enemies one must know themselves.  My kind are fools, they seek to build themselves up so that they may tear each other down, even though the true enemy lie beyond our land.  I seek to end this cycle; First by uniting the orc under me, then by destroying those who would oppose our might.  But if I am to build an empire, I will need the proper materials.  So many make the mistake of building with weak mortar.  Wood, steel, life...  All of these rust and decay in time.  My brick and clay will be with death, the one everlasting constant.  And since my enemies seem to be so eager in building with such fragile things, I most certainly accommodate with my powers.  Among me the living number 3 000, the dead number just over 10 000.  Yuri, teaches me and my powers continue to grow.  Now with my own tribe.  I will pave over all others, and leave an everlasting empire.

In terms of necromatic capability Cahlou rivals and even surpasses many of the warlocks of the council (but certainly not the council members themselves) with raw talent.  Though when it comes to finesse, he certainly comes up short.  Cahlou also has a considerable affinity with decay [rotting] and elemental [elemental beings] magic as well but are quite modest in comparison with his necromancy.  Having also to take care of himself from a VERY young age Cahlou knows how to fight but avoids unnecessary risks.
