It's a combination of things: Quality of the forge, quality of the used material, how advanced the skill is, quality of the hammer and stuff like that. I don't want it to be done in a matter of seconds, but it won't take hours either, so I guess it should be like a mini-game wich takes about 5 minutes.

You have an equel chance for drops as anyone else. However, if you choose hunter, you get more chance for drops like crafting materials. I don't want someone to have a different chance to get rare loot then others because that could make that person either really OP or really UP.
