Name: Roy Gerald Bivvens, Color Guard

Gender: Male Age: 17 Year Level: Junior Faction/club: School council (Treasurer), Band (Color guard) Power: Roy is capable of emitting blinding flashes of light from his fingertips. Though they possess no heat or force behind them, each bolt of light is easily capable of dazzling and confusing its target. This attack is capable of inflicting permanent damage to the cornea, though it would take several minutes of prolonged exposure to make a noticeable effect on someone's sight. This attack is capable of penetrating eyelids, hands, cloth, plastic, and almost all forms of glass. Powers that manipulate light can somewhat reduce the intensity of Roy's beams, though it cannot redirect them.
Roy Bivvens' school career prior to the past few years was largely uneventful, prior to his admittance to Kagetora High School. As Kagetora was the closest institution to Roy Bivvens' family, it was chosen as the best option. Roy's first year at Kagetora High School was a wretched quagmire of ill-advised mistakes, very narrowly ending with Roy hospitalized at several points. In his sophomore year, Roy opted to join the school's marching band, more specifically the color guard. Under the guidance of the color guards' director, a wispy-haired art teacher by the name of Nobuyuki Johnson, Roy learned to assert himself and move with confidence. Through applying Nobuyuki's teachings to his daily life, Roy managed to not only increase his social standing, but boost his grades. As a matter of fact, the increase in Points was sufficient to grant Roy a breadth of goods and services, that he liberally helped himself to. The single most useful service Roy used was the school's "Unlimited Printing" principle-- for a nominal fee, Roy could print whatever he wanted for no price whatsoever. With a theoretically infinite supply of fliers at his fingertips, Roy promptly lobbied for a position as the Treasurer of the Student Council. The previous holder of the position, a nervous-looking technopath by the name of Andrew Stibbons, was all too happy to relinquish his standing in exchange for being freed from the bureaucratic hell that was being the Treasurer. And so, Roy had earned a spot on the Student Council, while still maintaining a placement in the Color Guard. Unfortunately for Roy, Kagetora High School's myriad ethical issues finally came to wreak their dues mere weeks after Roy stepped into his position. Uncountable legal fees and budget cuts ruined the school's financial stability, parents began withdrawing and transferring their students en masse, and a dearth of new students very nearly starved the school of funding. With this shocking loss of money came intense budget cuts for the school's extracurricular activities. Without nearly enough money for equipment, the school's marching band drastically reduced its activities, and practice sessions gradually slowed to a crawl-- by March, the marching band only had enough money to perform twice a year. Likewise, the drought of funding forced Roy to think extremely carefully when setting the Student Council's monthly budget. A combination between Student Council realpolitik and incessant money troubles very nearly drove Roy mad with stress. Nowadays, Roy is nearly the spitting image of Andrew Stibbons. With wringing hands and grinding teeth, Roy is easily-irritable yet wholly-unwilling to engage in violence. Feeling that nobody can possibly understand the issues with being the school's Treasurer, Roy never hesitates to speak his mind and lash out in anger.
