Nina raised an eyebrow but said nothing about Kara's rather rude interruption of her mentor. Instead she smiled. [b]"Chances are you already have,"[/b] she said. [b]"Lonnie left my office just before you arrived."[/b] She gave a slight chuckle. [b]"However, you'll have to wait until lunch for a 'formal' introduction. As I said, she's a second year, so you won't share many classes. She's normally sitting alone at lunch, with the exception of Lukas Kunze. He's the only one who can get anything reasonable out of her, so I've heard."[/b] Another chuckle. [b]"If you want, you can get him to introduce you to Lonnie. She might be a little friendlier towards you if you're with him."[/b] Nina gave a sad smile and averted her gaze. [b]"She's a bit of a loner. Prefers to keep her distance from others. Lukas is the only one who's been able to get through to her, thanks to his persistence."[/b] 

She paused suddenly and glanced over at the clock. [b]"You should head classes soon, though. You have Miss Meredith first, and trust me when I say you [i]don't[/i] want to be late to class."[/b] She looked at Kara, then at Alfrigg. [b]"Is there anything else you need before you go ahead?"[/b] she asked.
