Mithias nodded and withdrew the gem shards, keeping them close to his heart once again. It looked like Bob's plan was going to work, so far. Love did ever seem to be a universal force, binding all those with the capacity for it. Mithias indulged in his imprisonment. 

Once Bug, Eruka, and Lisa were through the portal, Raven felt a sharp wave of heat and light coming from Mithias. The vampire had sprouted wings of flame. He answered her. "Ozzy wants to hold Bob's daughter ransom for the release of his father, Drac. Bob currently holds Drac's soul prisoner, because Drac had tried to kill him and failed." Mithias growled briefly. "It infuriates me that Drac attacked Bob when he was weak, right after the fight with Alucard, where Bob basically saved my life and all our lives from Alucard. Drac is a coward, and he betrayed my trust when he attack Bob, my friend." Mithias calmed himself. "But, I still care about Drac's family. His wife and three adopted children are not at fault for their father's actions. His son, Bug, is like a brother to me.

Please come with me once again. I need to see if Ozzy will listen to reason, and if not... we may need to fight off Ozzy in his own realm. We can't let harm come to the girl, and we can't let Drac go free to kill anyone he feels is a threat again." Mithias used his new wings to move toward the portal.
