Jynmi sighed. It was a sigh that gave the feeling it was time to move on, but there wasn't any more sidewalk, and not enough mental fortitude to step off the beaten path into the muddy routes that ran twisted like a snake trying to get away from something a lot bigger into a particularly dark woods one didn't go into unless one didn't mind coming out the other end filled from head to toe with all sorts of new holes of various depths. So he put the pizza boxes in the car, got in, and drove a car that wouldn't go right four miles through winding city streets three blocks away. The lights weren't on, but the address was right. There was a little shiver at the back of his neck, biting him and trying to pull him away like a dog who knew you were about to walk off the cliff, but aside from his teeth had no way to get you to stop. He ignored the shiver and got the pizzas. "Hello?" He said before reaching the door. "Anyone in there?" He knocked three times and tapped the heel of his fought as if somewhere in the back of his mind he believed there was a pressure pump and his filling up a balloon that would inflate in the shape of the customer the faster his heel bounced. "I've got a pizza for you, and a bill. Don't care too much about the pizza to be honest, but the bill, well, that's got to be paid up, and my wallets too malnourished to do it. Poor thing's on its last legs." In response a cricket started to chirp and then went silent when something bigger without a sense of humor and a thousand kids to feed got a hold of it. "Come on. There's already been three pranks and I can't afford another one." He knocked again and this time the door went eeeeeeetch as it made its way inward. Visions of a snapping turtle's mouth came to mind as did the teeth of a venus fly trap, and "come here" finger beckon from a woman with much more experience than a single human being should be allowed to endure came to mind, and Jynmi turned to run..... Two houses over where there wasn't any sense of danger. "Hey!" He knocked frantically at the door. "Your pizza's here. Probably thinking you didn't order any and your wrong so here."
