And Ammokkx I have a longbow, I shoot it quite often. Yes i know you'll say thats a modern longbow but it is still a one-piece wooden longbow made out of yew with a draw of around 80 pounds. A bullet and an arrow are two different things. A bullet is a small projectile with high impact but small surface area )this aint the term but its 10:30 here and I'm slightly drunk so it'll take a while) while an arrow, especially with a broad head is a heavy flexing piece of wood with a metal head, if the flexing wood isn't gonna hurt enough than the fletching will stop the arrow in the body, especially the chest. Unless you were less than a metre away from the person. Also I'm basing my character of archery in medieval times, namely moving about and aiming while drawing shooting unlike modern archery where you stand still and take ages to shoot (I've done that as well).Also the arrow can go up to speed of around 55 meters/second for a 80pound bow so that would cover the distance. I know what your saying about the rapid firing technique and i didn't say my character could do it, just that there is a technique where you can do that. And what your saying about the three arrows being shot at once, i get you on that, i didn't say i was going to do it, just that it was possible. And when i said 3 or so people fighting at once i didn't mean all at once i meant that i would be like a bar brawl wear everyone is just fighting randomly and switching their opponents so yu might get a perfectly healthy guy then a half dazed guy to a guy who is just managing not to shit himself. Son, i don't even care about the bar brawl anymore. I'm just talking about a hypothetical combat situation for fun now.

1: Medieval archers stood in the back row and rained down hell. They most certainly did not move about like some Shonen protagonist. Moving around ruins your aim and strength of the pull, not to mention how easily you can reload. You'd still need to stand still to fire.

2: I used the bullet as an example of something piercing your body not stopping you from moving. You'd need to pelt at least three arrows into the other guy for them to stop due to the pain. In an emergency situation pain get shoved to the sidelines.

3: Still a modern longbow that's been crafted expertly and not something that your character can't possibly have gotten their hands on at this stage.

4: If your character can't do something, don't bring it up .-.
