Donna didn't want to let go of her Spaceman, clutching him tighter and stroking his hair. When he told her that he had basically been lying to her for the past few days, she felt slightly heartbroken. Usually, it would have resulted in a slap across his thin face, but right now, she was too worried to care. "Never mind about Jack, we have a time-machine, we can visit him whenever we want." She reminded him, watching him pull out his sonic screwdriver, sweat glistening on his forehead. The creatures were mere yards away. "Intruders!" One of them shouted. "Seize the Time Lord and seize the human, we're taking them to the jail!" Another shouted. "Let's beat some sense into the Time Lord first, he never should have come here!"
