Not expressing any interest in particular (though I am keeping a close eye on this game's progress), I just wonder if perhaps you've confused the meaning of 'multiverse' with that of a 'shared universe'. A multiverse, strictly speaking being the existence of more than one parallel universe in a science fiction (or in this case, super hero fiction) setting, not a traditional shared 'comic book' universe, as I think you see it.
