He nodded slightly at her question," yeah, they are going to come back. They are just checking the forest for anything around us." As he stepped further up the stairs, reaching the second floor, she began to squirm in his arms. With a small smiled he stepped further away from the stairs before setting her carefully down onto the floor. 

"Stay close though, don't go to far. I'm gonna get some warm water in the bathroom sink so I can wash off the blood that is in your fur." He stepped away from her and into the bathroom, turning on the water to the sink. Once it was warm enough, he stopped it from draining out, allowing it to fill up with the warm water. [@Arista]
