They find themselves on the surface of a star-kidding, they find themselves getting whacked upside the head by a sergal farmer with the butt of their rifle for trampling the crops. The troops left behind are in a rather... dire situation since, once the rest of them leave they don't have the people to fend off the growing horde at their door, one of the strongholds falling, their sheilds having lowered via the work on someone on the inside before the entire populace was slaughtered, the fortresses falling in such a way one by one until everyone had either left or died.
