She struck out on her own at a young age, becoming a pickpocket for her own gains when she was only twelve years old and soon forming a small guild with close friends of hers. She was seventeen when the group entered an ancient ruin looking for a rumored treasure, but of the ten of them, five died within the maze of tunnels and enemies who rooted them out. There were beasts and men there, waiting for them every time they turned a corner and by the time the remaining five had escaped the ruins, Faera had come down with a fever that looked as if it was going to kill her and the nearest town was still a three week ride; she didn't have that much time. They brought her to a tribal healer of the forest, asking the woman to cleanse Faera, but the old woman responded with 'I cannot, there is something within her even the Gods cannot heal'. When her fever finally broke she was aware of three of them sitting with her while the other two hunted in a small cabin. They explained it to her and immediately she set her sights upon finding out what it was that was going to kill her in the near future. She couldn't find it, not until she was able to contact Harmoneous Mara, who would exchange the information for the whereabouts of the cure for it, since even he didn't know where it was. On one condition; she must go at it alone. Faera packed up her few things and sneaked away in the dead of night, traveling to Skyrim where she's begun to track down the clues and hone in on the last few pieces of the puzzle; unfortunately, she doesn't have long left.
