[/quote] And don't forget that if you don't spend multiple years to get a major publishing office to take the novel you spent multiple years on, then you'll never ever make any money from anyone ever. Or get it into a store. Or actually have someone read it. The most important factor in how well a novel sells is absolute pure chance. And your name. Which nobody has ever heard before, which is not a good thing. (But yeah, you really can't put up 4500 words. As good as those words may be, if you don't have a novel-sized book, people will just kind of scoff. I'd suggest submitting your work to a magazine, because that'll let you take approximately less than five years to do)
