When engaged they create a pocket of completely empty space between themselves and flat object, generally a wall. This effect makes it so they will stick and hold any weight load when engaged. They can be activated and deactivated at a seconds notice. Practically in a fight Sapphire could use these to stick to walls or other objects when she needs a second to breath or to coordinate an attack.
