Takeshi was very agitated this was taking so long, positive that more people were dying because of them. The whole point of being here was to fight the two Saiyans, why then were they trying to do that in the most roundabout way possible? Growling in annoyance at the whole deal he stopped when he heard someone racing down the stairs, turning around and frowning seeing a very worried looking Haku standing at the bottom. It only took a moment to tell everyone what he had seen, and without a word edgewise everyone moved out fairly quick to stop the alien from certain death. There was no communication between anyone, and yet Yumi, Kabocha and Takeshi all managed to coordinate a three part attack somehow, perhaps following one another's lead in going after Yamate. While ultimately their efforts hadn't done any damage they did manage to free the alien from Yamate's grasp, and Haku had quickly gotten the man away and into the building they'd been taking cover in. Well now they had their targets in sight, and despite the obvious threat of who the enemy was, Takeshi couldn't be any happier. A lot of grief and problems had been caused by these two, it was high time they were made to pay for it. Yamate hadn't fully noticed the attacks coming at first, yet they had been simple enough to handle. If that was the effort they were going to be putting into their strikes then this wasn't going to be very much of a battle. Odd that his sons and their friends should be here, as like Krom he had expected the rebel leader, what with their proximity to Uuonoe. Had Korian not noticed their departure, or had he not even been notified? He had not expected this, though he supposed it wasn't such a bad thing; it had been a while since he'd seen either of the boys, and now was a good a time as any to test how much stronger they had gotten. Neither looked any more imposing than before, and in fact Shu looked like he was about to soil himself, but looks could be deceiving. "If you mean Vegeta and Viral, they're busy. We don't need them to beat you two anyways," Takeshi answered bitterly, smirking as he stared down Krom, "We're here for him though, to kick your ass and make you pay for what you did to him. And when we're done kicking your ass we'll bring you down too," he added, glancing over to his father. Seeing the smug smile on Yamate's face made him quickly lose his own, snarling under his breath as he clenched his hands into tight fists. He couldn't wait to wipe that look of the man's face, he was going to be in a world of hurt when they were through. He just wanted to dive right into the fight now and get it going, but he knew what was planned and rushing in headlong wasn't it. Turning his attention back onto Krom he exhaled softly before wiping at his nose with a finger, his smirk coming back as he raised an eyebrow. "I gotta say... You look way different now that you're not all bloody and covered in bandages. Did you want to get beat by kids so bad again you decided to come out here?" "Takeshi... Please, do you know how idiotic you sound when you speak sometimes?" Yamate asked, rolling his eyes as he folded his arms, "We're trained soldiers, we don't become enraged over childish taunts, certainly not ones as menial as that. I would have hoped you knew how to carry out proper antagonizing from your training, but seems like everything else you just managed to forget somehow. Here, let me show you how it's done..." Reaching out his left arm he began gathering Ki, aimed first at the group until he moved it to their right, firing past everyone and at the building where the alien had been in hiding. In a single blink of an eye it was gone, blowing apart into pieces of smoldering rubble as a tall pillar of smoke began rising up from its place. Feeling a few energies spiking up from anger, the King let out a curt laugh, turning back to the group amused. "If you can get into your opponents head then you can make them make mistakes, and that is the easiest way to ensure victory. You're all still young and naive, you can't control your emotions, and because of that," he began, pausing briefly to lean to the side as a blast was fired at him, "That will be the..." Yamate had trailed off out of confusion, briefly losing his train of thought when he saw Haku in the back of the group, smiling at him. Raising an eyebrow he realized where the blast had come from, noticing the alien was behind the boy and not in fact in the building. But when had he come out? Hm, sneaky, but he supposed it didn't much matter, and it was better he didn't kill the man anyways. "W-We might be young... But that doesn't mean we can't fight..." Haku said, feeling himself get all clammy under the King's gaze, "Y-You're not going to hurt anymore people...!" The King couldn't help but laugh at that comment, finding it both adorable and amusing that such a weakling would make such a bold statement. "The rat finds some new friends and suddenly he finds courage! Or is that false bravado, being surrounded by the others?" Yamate asked, grinning as he looking at every member of the group, "Numbers mean nothing to us, there could be ten of you or a hundred, the outcome won't change. I don't know why you came here or what you hope to accomplish, but each and every one of you will fall here today." If his sons truly wished to beat him then they would, they had the potential to do so. He would do whatever it took today to unlock that, even if it meant killing a friend or two of theirs. Sooner or later they would give up those bothersome connections and human emotions, embrace what they truly were and reach their power as a result. Reaching back and undoing a clasp on each shoulder he let his cape drop from his armor, sending one casual glance to Krom before holding his arms out to his sides. "If you wish to stop us, then stop us! Know that I have no use for you anymore, or anyone who fails me! I will not be kind to you, if you decide to go through with this foolishness. Fight and die, that is what awaits you. So tell me, are you still so certain you want to battle?" "Are we certain? Hell no, but what choice do we have?" Kabocha spoke up, scowling as he threw a hand to the side angrily, "Even if we don't fight you're going to kill us, we know what you do to traitors! I don't know about everyone else here, but I'd rather die like a warrior and go down fighting then get shot in the back running." Just where in the hell was this coming from? A moment ago he was ready to let Shu and T'charrl take the brunt of the battle, but now here he was prepared to thrown down as well. Maybe he was realizing what a dumb idea it had been, or that realistically he was going to have to fight anyways. Whatever the case was he had made peace with it, and while frightened by the prospect Kabocha was ready to do battle. Smiling nervously he looked over at the twins, forcing a grin as he nodded towards Krom and Yamate. "How about it, you two ready? I think it's about time we show them what some regulars can really do."
