He blinked his good eye a few times to try and dislodge the black splodges that were intent on obscuring what little vision he had left. "Cheap trick further blinding a half blind man" He told the space where he thought the camera flash had come from. His vision only took a few minutes to recover from the cheap shot luckily meaning he was able to catch sight of the rather nifty display happening on the screen next to the door. He pulled a face as he looked at the picture that had just been taken...he wasn't exactly model material but this one in particular left much to be desired. His eye was scrunched shut and one side of his mouth looked as if it had been pulled down to his chin as his hands flew up to protect his face. "All I can say to that, is I really hope it doesn't show up on any social media...my fan base would definitely shrink" He chuckled to himself...talking to himself was becoming a thing nowadays...he really needed to make more friends. A look of surprise crossed his face as the machine finally found a 'match' in its database, a sharp stab of longing punctured his gut as he looked over the other picture. That had been taken back in Athalia, the innocent grin and two shining red eyes...Happier times... He felt himself twitch a little as he read the words flashing at the bottom of the screen, 'Caleb' wasn't a name he associated with at all. "DNA? It better not involve needles..." The shapeshifter grumbled, eyeing the panel suspiciously he withdrew his hands to his chest almost defensively. Hearing an unfamiliar voice call out from within the house, Crash dropped his hands and waited patiently to see what would happen. Though he jumped a little as the doors slid open, he looked very impressed by it all. He couldn't recall seeing anything so high tech except for in the Mundane's movies back in the other realm. He looked Prometheus over quickly before offering the man a small smile, unsure what to make of the metal man stood before him until he politely addressed him. Feeling himself physically flinch at the use of his real name, Crash's smile tightened for a moment before he forced himself to relax and offer Prometheus his hand. "You must be Prometheus...the names Crash. I was sent here by Vicki, something about a 'trip' to Europe? There's a woman somewhere behind me as well that was also sent this way" He introduced himself and explained his arrival all in one breath, only pausing for a moment to retract his hand if it hadn't been shook and to point out the tech doors. "Nice bit of kit you've got here, I don't think I've seen anything like it" He mentioned...in his defence he hadn't seen anything like it before, travelling around the world and constantly being on the move meant you didn't often end up in places with top line tech. Her nose twitched as a light breeze passed through the meadow in front of her, weaving its way through the long grass it whisked the sweet scent of wildflowers into the air, dragging it along with it as it curved around Rain's body and the large oak tree she was resting against. Rain rolled her shoulders and stretched out her legs, raising an eyebrow as she disturbed the woman dozing in her lap. "This would be perfect...if you weren't such a fidget" The woman complained softly, the corners of her mouth twitched up into a teasing smile as her eyelids flicked back revealing deep golden eyes glinting with amusement. "I wouldn't fidget so much if you weren't making my legs go dead, you weigh a ton" Rain retorted, turning her gaze back to her book as amusement danced across her features. The golden eyed woman's eyebrows twitched up and she adopted a hurt expression for a few moments before she reached up and poked the book in Rain's hand causing it to flop shut and topple out of her hand, landing with a soft thud on the soft ground beneath them. "Really?" Rain raised an eyebrow at the woman grinning up at her. "I'm going to have to hunt for my page now..." She sighed, though instead of picking it back up she leant back against the bark of the oak tree behind her and closed her eyes, dropping her hand to run her fingers through the other woman's soft golden locks. The two were quiet for a few moments enjoying the simplicity of each others company "Piper?" The blue haired woman murmured softly, opening her eyes she glanced down at Piper, uncertainty present in her eyes "mmm?" the golden haired woman hummed without opening her eyes. "If you could go anywhere in the world...where would you go?" Rain asked, gazing down at Piper as she waited for her answer, taking a moment to admire the soft curve of her lovers jaw line, the high cheekbones and full lips. "Honestly" Piper suddenly answered, raising a coy eyebrow as she met Rain's wandering gaze "I don't know...the others don't talk about the outside world much and I'm not really one for books" She shrugged, narrowing her eyes as a thoughtful expression crossed her face. "I know I want to see the ocean for what it's worth" She added, slowly sitting upright she shifted round so she was facing Rain, leaning over her lap to rest her hand on the other side of her "Water as far as the eye can see, I scarcely believe its true...we'll have to teach you to swim before thinking about crossing it but that's exactly what I want to do. Cross the sea to another land. The further away from here the better" Piper grinned a dreamy look crossed her face.
As soon as the word was given that they could leave the lower decks Rain was one of the first to do so, silently grateful for the chance to get away from the crates of fish secured below. Travelling in the bowels of a ship was no way to travel, she had been one step away from leaving regardless of orders...which in a way reminded her how much of an alpha she was already. As soon as she was able to she escaped the confines of the ships narrow hallways and made her way above deck, skirting around the large fishing equipment she came to a rest at the nose of the ship. Water occasionally sprayed her as the boat carved a path through the gentle waves below causing the cool wind to whip up and past her. The werewolf took a deep breath of the salty sea air in an attempt to clear her senses of the overbearing smell of fish, it worked a little though she doubted she'd truly escape the smell until they were off of this boat and she'd scrubbed herself with something or...rolled in some mud. Rain leant forward and rested her forearms against the bar in front of her, watching the horizon and searching for any signs of land or other ships. Now wasn't the time to relax or reminisce, there must be work that needed doing before they docked... As Rain thought over what she could possibly do whilst stuck on a boat, something caused her ears to twitch, a strange occurrence bought on by two things, either she'd heard something of interest or her 'spidey' sense was tingling. Before she had much of a chance to investigate something happened behind her, spinning on the spot Rain's jaw dropped as she watched one of the crewman disappear over the side. The werewolf shot to the side of the boat, feeling her canines elongate as she took in the appearance of the large beast a few feet out from the boat. Knowing the beast had her at a disadvantage being it was creature of the sea and she didn't even know how to swim...she turned to whom she assumed was in charge of the crewman and ordered him to get every non combatant below deck and get Vicki's task force -It seemed a viable name for the often- up onto the deck. Rain ran her thumbs over the tips of her claws watching the sea snake with calm blue eyes, adamant the beast wouldn't take another life as long as she drew breath.
