Hmm... that's a good way to put it.

When I first saw the OP, the cast made me think back to that brilliant movie, and how this roleplay is pretty much that alternate ending I wished for. Maximus becomes the new Proximo, inherits the Ludus and uses effigies of Commodus to train his Gladiators and Gladiatrices.
