Godsmith is a large man, 6'2'' tall (1.87 m) and very muscular. His complexion is tan with an olive hue, and his skin has a certain metallic shine to it. His face is broad with a particularly sharp jaw and a nose which is straight and regal, but a bit large. His eyes are a soft brown and his hair a pearly white. On his head, his hair is cut very short, in a soldier's style. His beard, on the other hand, is glorious, long as a fist is wide down from his chin and around his mouth, curling as it hides his jaw. 

As the average mechanic Hyde Sideros, he wears crude jeans, tough boots, some sort of shirt or sweater and always the same old cap, proudly showing off the logo of [i]Sideros Auto Repair[/i]. When he changes into Godsmith, he wears a skintight uniform which is mostly an orange-red hue, but a band of white around his chest and down his arms. A cape is thrown around his shoulders and fastened to the left side of his chest with a golden medallion, featuring the Olympian olive wreath. Around his wrists and shins are steel plates, and a traditional Greek helmet is worn on his head. He releases the flames of his inner forge from his eyes, making them glow with bright flames and further obscuring his face.

[b]Personality: [/b]
Godsmith is a god humbled by his life among mortals. He sees us humans, and he sees a passion for life, for success and for meaningfulness that does not exist among the Olympians. Because of this, he has developed a true love for humanity. He is very protective and concerned about people surrounding him. However, Godsmith has problems with the concept of individual freedom. As a god he always reigned over man, and so he thinks people’s right to do whatever they want, even if they hurt themselves, is problematic.

Of course, with a god’s mercy comes a god’s wrath. If anything or anyone threatens the mortals he swears to protect, he will not hold back. Taste the blazing steel of Hephaestus!

[b]Short Biography:[/b]
It had been a long time since the Olympians had been worshiped. A damned shame it was, and the Olympians had grown weary. Zeus no longer threw his bolts of lightning with a godly rage, Apollo had no passion while riding the sun across the sky. And Aphrodite was ever the cheating bitch, much to her husband Hephaestus' dismay. One day, Aphrodite had laid her eyes on Poseidon, god of the seas, and he gave into her seduction. Hephaestus was mad, and burst open the door and swung his hammer, Pelekys, across Poseidon's face. At once, the two gods' rage burst into each other, and only the king of gods, Zeus, could stop it. Zeus naturally sided with his brother, and cast Hephaestus down to the mortal realm as punishment. This ended up being no punishment at all, as Hephastus found new joy in his new home, and started his life among them, simultaneously becoming their sworn protector.

[b]Powers, Skills & Equipment:[/b]
Hephaestus is the ancient Greek god of metal, fire and smithing. As such, even if he is banished to the realm of mortals, Godsmith has still retained his powers. Firstly, being an Olympian, his physique is in peak condition, being beyond what is attainable by the mortal men. Secondly, his skin is not like that of humans - it is as durable as steel and warm to the touch from his inner forge. But now, without further ado, what makes a god a true Olympian is of course his legendary artifacts.

[i]Pelekys[/i] is Godsmith’s two-sided hammer, traditionally used alongside the Olympian forge, but it is also suited for battle. Although he usually keeps it in the shape of a hammer, Godsmith can manipulate its form into any traditional weapon at will. While in the shape of the blacksmith’s hammer, Pelekys can also reforge metals by simply touching them, warming the metal and manipulating it freely.

[i]Tsimpida[/i] are Godsmith’s tongs. This is also usually used in the godly forge, but can also prove useful in battle. And projectiles without a solid state, such as lasers or fireballs, can be grabbed by these legendary tongs and can be deflected however Godsmith wishes.

[i]Amoni[/i] is Godsmith’s anvil, usually beside the forge. In battle it has a niche use in that it is truly indestructible and also heavier than any object known to man. It can be used in conjunction with the two other tools to create metal from nothingness, something which is truly magnificent.

Additionally, Godsmith wears a tight suit and cape to battle, wanting to be instantly recognizable in order to redirect any threats onto him rather than innocent bystanders. Around his wrists and his shins, He has pieces of steel plating for protection and deflection, but also to have some steel ready to smith. His helmet is of ancient Greek design, made of godly steel.

[b]Weakness:[/b]
Being the god of fire, Godsmith is naturally weak to water. It puts out his inner forge, severely weakening him and making him unable to call his artifacts to battle. In the same sense, aquamarine is the gemstone of Poseidon and the sea, and so will penetrate his skin easy as steel through a man.

[list][*] Godsmith still loves wine, as always, but he has discovered a love for South African wines after growing tired of the Greek ones.
[*] Once in a while he walks around in his home in a toga, missing the comfort it provides.
[*] His diet is almost entirely based on fruity desserts, food fit for a god!
