There IS a dog shelter organisation sorta thingy I suppose I could volunteer at, but I don't know if that's gonna help my case or not.
It probably isn't the same at all in the eyes of veterinary colleges, so that's a bummer. I have to start applying sometime this winter. It's pretty nerve-wracking, actually.
