We were like the premier for the announcement. The rest of the country won't know until everyone returns to their respective homes to spread the word. Though, most of the Drakken warlords (at least those of any consequence) now know because they're all gathered at Shadow Worth so that was really the ideal place to make it official. 

I imagine it will be some time before the Gems find out. Somehow the Drakken don't seem like the type to send out a formal declaration of war, but maybe the King will. I don't know.
