In his post he's on highway 8 as well, which is where my group is. And besides, it's really quiet now what with all the running cars and planes overhead missing in the world. The tailgate of a truck hitting the ground is going to echo for a ways. By the time Clover picked up on it, the noise was fairly faint but noticeable.
