It seems that not everyone is so keen on going to war though. As Praeth pointed out, there are still plenty of more threatening nations in the south to be too worried about Gemminia. First and foremost the breaking of peace means that the Gems no longer have Drakken protection from outsiders. Other than the rebels, Gemminia probably doesn't have much in the way of military forces. Other than the overly-eager-to-conquer warlords shoving their way across the border to get dibs on the land, most Drakken probably won't be too concerned about organizing a real invasion. A few raids now and then but right now the country as a whole doesn't present much of a threat. The Gem brides, on the other hand, ought to be very worried about their homes and families suddenly being open to attack not only from their former protectors but all the enemies the Drakkens had shielded them from thus far. Gemminia is a lush territory and full of resources, I'm sure plenty of other nations will be eager to get their hands on it. Gemminia will be torn apart the way a pack of hungry wolves tears apart the carcass of a deer. It won't be conquered, but cut into pieces and divided among the surrounding countries. As for what will become of the Gems themselves, I cannot say.
