Elijah’s green eyes opened slowly, before the stray little bit of light showing through the thick black curtains made him close them again. He let out a loud groan rolling over and finding comfort in the smooth black sheets of the king sized bed, his body becoming motionless again partly covered by the covers as he quietly contemplated just going back to sleep. Not even when he was human, was he a morning person and since being turned over two hundred years ago. The thought of getting out of bed was even less favored than before. As he let his eyes close once more, the phone beside his bed started to ring making him swear loudly before reaching over, grabbing the phone, and placing it to his ear. “What!” He said into the phone grumpily. “Happy Birthday!”The loud female vampire's excited voice squeaked through the phone, making him move his phone from him ear a little bit. A small smile pulling at his lips as Lilly laughed, though he quickly shook the bit of human like emotion away. "Really Lillian? You woke me up just to squeak in my ear." Elijah complained as he rolled over and sat up, only getting a giggle in response to his question. Honestly he rarely kept track of his birthdays any more after two hundred seventy three years, it seemed more like a waste of time to him. One more year of existence was no longer anything special, still it didn't keep Lilly from making a big deal out of it every year. "No, I called so you can let me in. Your doors locked." Lilly said through the phone with another laugh, before she rang the doorbell over and over again, making Elijah get out of bed and slip his pants and a shirt on before going to open the door. Although Elijah's house was in one of the best neighborhoods, he still had to lock his door when he went to bed, as Lilly had the habit of just coming in whenever she felt like it, which could be rather annoying when he wasn't alone. As soon as the door was unlocked and opened he was meant by the smirking face of the skinny blonde that stood at least a foot smaller than him. She looked him over, her eyes lingering on his still messing black hair, before frowning and simply pushing her way around him into the house. "Why aren't you dressed and ready? I texted, and told you that we were going out.” Lilly said her voice sounding winey, her lips pursing as he smiled at her. Elijah let a smile show on his face for a moment, before shaking his head and forcing it away as he looked down at his phone, finally noticing that it was just after twelve in the evening. His fingers slid up through the texts on his phone before looking back up at her. “Are you sure you sent it to me, and not Klaus, or your mother again?” He asked, finger swiping away the text message smiling while he watched her look down at her phone in a slight panic. His laughing made Lilly give him a dirty look as she looked up from her phone. “You are an asshole, Elijah.” She pouted not even bothering to make the pout look real as he sat his phone down and started back down the hall to get dressed. Lillian bit her lip listening for the bedroom door to close before grabbing Elijah’s cell phone and dialing the first number on the contact list. Her foot tapping impatiently as she waited for the person on the other end to pick up. She had tried stopping by his house before coming to Elijah’s but he hadn’t been home. “Hey!” She squeaked when Klaus picked up. “Where are you? I’m stealing your brother for the day, and probably get him drunk for his birthday.”
