Her father was the bread-winner as he was a passionate baker who still continues the legacy of his great-grandfather Wilhemm Dieter, a internationally renowned patisserie, at three chains in Amestris, the major one being in Central City called Wilhemm's Own.

The majority of her siblings took their career paths into medical and educational departments whereas she became the first woman of their legacy to be in the military.
