A young  student, Dai is an overall happy-go-lucky guy who is fairly impressionable. He is kind-hearted and energetic, and genuinely wants to make the lives of those around him easier, going out of his way to help those who ask even at the cost of his own. 
 
Known to be an unintentional flirt with no regards for personal space, he can be downright intrusive when it comes to the personal matters of others. Even if he does have the best of intentions, he can sometimes make himself a nuisance and make a stubbornly persistent effort to get what he wants. A good deal of insults tend to go over his head as Dai grew a pretty thick skin over the years. It takes a lot to wear at his patience since many claim he has the temperament of a saint.
