On a particularly rebellious streak when still with his keeper friend, he dyed his hair a green shade, something he still does to this day. Stands at 175cm and approximately 70kg on average.[/i][/center]

[color=salmon][u][b]Notable Traits:[/b][/u][/color] - [b][i]Pyromania[/i][/b]: Proficient in manipulating, controlling, and creating flames/temperature. Can also go the other way and use ice/cold but is significantly worse at it.
- [b][i]Dedicated[/i][/b]: Kaito is very clearly only concerned with himself and the mission he’s set himself on. Often danger doesn’t faze him if it stands in his way. Arguably brave.

[color=salmon][u][b]Flaws:[/b][/u][/color] – [b][i]Selfish[/i][/b]: Primarily concerned with himself, others are an afterthought. Places his own survival paramount.
- [b][i]Brash[/i][/b]: Often ignores others’ wants (and possibly needs) to focus on his own goals. Disregards others’ ideas and suggestions quite often.
- [b][i]Hot-Headed[/i][/b]: [s]slightly literally[/s] An impatient young man. Prefers more direct approaches to things. Quick to get irritated at others.
- [b][i]Cocky[/i][/b]: Considers himself more proficient in his field than most, considers his ideas usually the best.

[color=salmon][u][b]Channel:[/b][/u][/color] Since he didn’t have one himself, Kaito absconded with his keeper pal’s channel prior to heading off to the other side of Japan. The weapon in question is a spear with phenomenal blade sharpness, able to pierce through enemies much easier than an average spear. The melee nature of the weapon is rather unfortunate for one with Kaito’s level of combat ability.

[color=salmon][u][b]Inventory:[/b][/u][/color] While he doesn’t usually carry much on his person, he usually carries a notepad and cellphone around with him at all times. Takes a flashlight and a retractable utility knife with him on the field.

[color=salmon][u][b]History:[/b][/u][/color] Born and raised in a city in the Yamaguchi Prefecture, Chuugoku Region. Kaito was a child to two magi scientists. He wasn’t particularly wanted, persay, but regardless his mother kept him. His father stayed quite possibly out of obligation, considering their relationship wasn’t exactly... serious, when Kaito happened. Both parents’ lives [i]were[/i] their work and research (hence their little affair; a little bit of stress management), leaving Kaito alone with a nanny most of the time. Growing up, Kaito never felt any particularly strong affection towards his parents because of this. 

Later in life, as a young adult, he adopted the same fervour for science and magery his parents had. It was quite possible it was just to fill a hole in his heart with the nearest thing, but some might argue it was in his blood (perhaps literally?). Kaito himself was a magi with above-average ability, a natural some might say. He followed in his parents’ footsteps and practiced under the Guild’s rules. It was an empty kind of passion, one just to say you had one.

In some kind of weird twist of life, Kaito found himself growing rather fond of a fellow Magi he’d ended up working with. Whether it was the looks or the personality, it didn’t really matter to Kaito, because he knew that the hole he’d boarded over filled when he was around them. It was a weird feeling. Not quite love (though he wasn’t entirely sure what that was entirely like), not quite attraction. Something. It drove him mad day and night, pissed him off that he couldn’t wrap his head around this one person when he’d been studying the field of magery his whole life.

Though he didn’t exactly have much experience in the field, Kaito decided to follow his enigma, an unhealthy obsession festering inside him, by becoming a pseudo-keeper. Everyone thought he was a fool. Ridiculous, thinking such a scholarly boy such as himself could handle himself outside of a lab. Well… they were kind of right. Kaito was, in fact, a liability oft times. His lack of experience and training made for a terrible companion to his keeper interest. And it wasn’t until his foolishness cost him his target of obsession did Kaito ever think of what he was doing.

This enigma of a person died in duty thanks to his insistence on intruding on their affairs (which, of course, he excused the whole thing by saying it was for his research). Kaito was almost crushed by the whole affair, left in the dark by this person who could give him the answer he wanted. There wasn’t anybody else who could do that, and his fever-pitch for this keeper did not stop at the grave. Having to go back to his studies, Kaito decided to set his eyes on something some might have called taboo. Human resurrection. It had to be possible. Somehow.

After having left the Guild’s teachings for the more liberal College, Kaito absorbed himself into books, texts, researches, anything that could give a hint. His most recent clue, Kaito decided, lies in the Reality Convergence taking place in Jizakai. There had to be [i]something[/i] there that could give answers.

[color=salmon][u][b]Personality:[/b][/u][/color] An assertive young man with little regard for others. He’s notably dedicated to his pursuits, willing to sacrifice his own health and wealth to achieve his goals. While often apathetic to the plights of others, he’s quick to help someone if doing so serves his interests. Blunt and honest. A straight-forward person.

[color=salmon][u][b]Motivation:[/b][/u][/color] That void never left, and all Kaito wants is that keeper to tell him how to fix it. The Reality Convergence has Kaito convinced he’ll find answers at it, in both his pursuits of bringing his subject back and his aforementioned ache. He has an almost outrageous fixation on it.

[color=salmon][u][b]Character Goals:[/b][/u][/color] To find the answers to his questions, a scholarly pursuit. Everything about that person he’d met, and as a by-product, the secrets of human alteration in magery.
