[@MyCatGinger] - Just FYI, Depending on when the timeskip skips to, Shizuka may pop into the biology lab for some daily maintenance, AKA, taking care of some pet rodents, which is part of her veterinary sciences project.  She may meet Matsuoka-sensei, and may notice the rings under his eyes due to his late night out.

Also, darn you for mentioning Magic: the Gathering!  It's hard to resist the draw (pun intended).  Since Shizuka currently doesn't do much fun-wise, I'm seriously considering engineering some ridiculous scenario where she gets pulled into MtG, ends up liking it, and becomes a gaming center regular.  It would be an interesting twist on her character: Yamato Nadeshiko turns out to be a collectible card game otaku.  She might have to deal with issues concerning her 'legitimacy' a nerd.  *sigh*, the problems girl gamers have to deal with.
