Aquamarine was relieved when the other two headed out to the temple and waited by herself in the vast eerie darkness of the Kindergarten at the point where the last wrap had been. She hated this place even more so at night but she would wait here as long as she could and would keep coming back until she could find a way to the others on Blood's ship. In all honesty, she didn't want to have to tell Spinel that the warp was locked and that unless they found the exact base and went there in person, there would be no way to retrieve the others. She didn't know what to do plus she was sure that Spinel wouldn't stay away for long. She needed to think... The beam of light made her jump back and lose her train of thought as the warp pad activated once more and she moved into defense, not sure who or what would pop out. She relaxed at seeing Sodalite's familiar form before stiffing, watching the young gem curl into a ball causing panic to rise as she rushed to the other. Aqua knelt down on her knees in front of Soda, looking at the blue gem and felt her heart pain at the sight before her. This was not physical pain...this was how she looked and felt the day Blood had chosen Gem kind and she had walked down another path. This was the pain of loss and the numbing overwhelming that came with it. She wrapped her arms around Sodalite, hugging her tightly as a small tear slipped down her cheek. She had hope this would never happen to them and for now she didn't need to know what happened on that ship even though she could guess a few things. Evenkite had needed space and Sodalite hadn't given it too her so so many possibilities could have happened but that didn't mean the blue gem deserved what had happened. "Don't give up on her Sodalite...Sometimes we do and say things we regret when everything is too much. I am not saying that it is right but try to forgive...if it has nothing to do with things said..if she chose Bloodstone than you must respect that chioce even if it hurts..." Aqua said softly, the only words she spoke as she scooped up the gem, holding her close as she carried the other back to the temple.
