Birthplace: TBR Weapons: TBR Personality: TBR Brief Bio: With his father being the NYPD's chief of Criminal Investigations division, and his mother a renowned mystery author, Matthias grew up with a fascination for crime and mystery at a young age. After solving his first major case at fourteen, and having tucked several others more under his belt since, it was always thought that he would grow up to join his father's line of work. However, after failing the police academy entrance exams twice, he became bored, disillusioned, even depressed, at his failures to pass the physical exam. That changed, however, when the great thief Ghostess made her appearance. After outwitting his father, his superiors, and even himself, Matthias became convinced. Not only was it his duty, as the son of a police officer, to catch the thief, it was his destiny. Thus, a fierce rivalry ensued, Matthias managing to uncover the thief's tracks, just in time for her to slip through his fingertips with her treasures in hand. However, recently, he has noticed a change in the thief's behavior following an unusual pause in her activities, notices that are laughed off as overanalyzing or obsession. Matthias remains convinced, however, that not all is as it seems, and that something is wrong on the other end of his one-sided rivalry. When not pursuing cases at his own independent practice, Matthias works part-time as a waiter, to make ends meet. His allowance and inheritance are being withheld until he "shapes up and passes the police academy entrance exams, or finishes college and finds a decent job.
