Garret was in the back of the Gym, readying his Pokemon for the upcoming day.

[color=a36209]"We're going to have some tough challengers today. All I ask, is that you do your best!"[/color] Then the door opened.

Garret walked out to greet the trainer with a smile on his face. First he crossed his arms, and pondered, taking mental notes of the duo. Their expressions, their stance, if they were shaking. The boy was confident, excited, but, unsure. This was obviously his first Gym battle. The Pokemon had the same expression. The boys hands were shaking the slightest bit as well, which could mean he was a little nervous. This fight with nervousness, and confidence, could throw the boy off balance, leading to Garret's win.

[color=a36209]"Hello there! Welcome to the Dune Town Gym! I'm sure excited for our battle, and hope you are to!" I'm ready when you are.[/color]

[color=00aeef]"The rules are as follows! Each person, the challenger, and Gym Leader will use one Pokemon each. No berries, potions, or items of any kind for that matter, can be used, from either side. Challenger versus Garret,[/color] The battle regulator waited for Garret to send out his Pokemon.

[color=a36209]"Alright, you got this. Go, Sandile!"[/color] With a burst of red light, the sand crocodile appeared, fangs bared, and ready to fight.

[color=00aeef]"Battle. Begin!"[/color] Garret looked over to his challenger, signaling him to take the first move.
