You know Nicholas Flamel from the Harry Potter series? There's a series of books based on him, loosely. I'm almost certain it's not the same world, however it involves immortality and all that. Main character is this guy literally called The Necromancer, and at the time, I was obsessed with RPing them, so I felt that the signature fit well. I just liked the quote from the book.
