Saburo Uchiha, “Kimyōna”
[@Assassin]
Damn. This wasn't exactly what he had anticipated from the boys' earlier behaviour. He had expected to be defending against a sword-attack or a taijutsu-attack, not ninjutsu. Luckily for Saburo he was a ninjutsu duelist at heart, and he was able to quickly devise a plan. He stood up straight now with his hands next to him, dropping the gentle fist mimick. He took a brief moment to look at Shouken, who now flew away towards a tree whilst eyeing Saburo. It was time to showcase what the element of surprise could do.. 11th corps style. He stepped towards the snake, which was now flying towards Saburo at a high speed, and his steps resonated in the water calmly. He waited until the snake fully covered the sight between Shouken and Saburo, making sure that Shouken could not see his next move throughout the water. Quickly he formed seals, and noticed that he was very nearly too late. He should remember to not wait too long next time. He made a mental note about that for now. “Kaaaton! Gōryūka no Jutsu!” he said softly, though there was no way Shouken would hear it over the crashing waves of his destructive water technique. From Saburo's mouth came a small fire, quickly evolving into a full blown Great Dragon Fire Technique, shaped like a dragon's head. Although.. that much would be unknown by Shouken, as Saburo didn't put much chakra or effort into the technique on purpose, to keep it small. He used it to cover himself from the technique, evaporating the water that came close to him, and to form a shield of heat in the shape of an arc in front of him - this way he was sure he wouldn't get caught out in the torrent. Saburo was quite surprised actually, that Shouken knew this technique. In the right hands, it is a valuable technique. As soon as the snake technique started dissolving into the torrential river that followed after this technique, Saburo took the brief moment he had bought himself with the fire technique and sunk into the water. He quickly swam to the right, to the shoreline, where he got out of the water and crawled into a bush. To Shouken it would seem as if Saburo had vanished and had been dragged along with the torrent - to death or perhaps even lifelong permanent damage. The truth was far more dangerous, but not for Saburo, for Shouken. Saburo took a brief moment in the bush to catch his breath while he observed Shouken in the tree. It didn't seem like Shouken was hiding, but he was doing something. Saburo smiled to himself, though. Just because Shouken didn't do what Saburo had wanted, didn't mean his plan changed. “Teacher 1-sama always says; a fight is like poker, where patience and calmth can win you the game even with a crap hand. I haven't folded yet, Shouken-senpai.. and my hand is not crap, denoting that my plan is good and near fail-proof.” he said to himself as he crawled out of the bush to the side, trying to flank Shouken by moving silently as he did. When he finally got close to Shouken's back side, he got up, and dashed forwards onto the branch that Shouken was on. If he hadn't been noticed, this was the moment where Saburo showed his hand - and hopefully won the game of 'poker' they were playing. He set one foot on the right side of Shouken, and the other on the left, maintaining balance quite well. If he was right, Shouken would only notice his presence now, but he didn't know how good the boys' senses were.. perhaps he'd been spotted. Even an 11th corps former officer could make mistakes. With his right hand he attempted to grab a hold of Shouken's right hand, in an attempt to constrict movement and to refute any possible counter attacks. His left hand meanwhile would grab Shouken's throat and force Shouken to look up, and look right into Saburo's eyes. He blinked briefly and as soon as he opened his eyes, the three tomoe of the Sharingan would be visible, revealing that Saburo did lie about not having the sharingan. “.. SHARINGAN!” If it all succeeded, he would've placed Shouken under a sharingan genjutsu, which would make it appear as if the battle had started right from the start again. Ofcourse this wasn't true. In this genjutsu, Shouken would be standing on the water again, feeling slightly more enervated than when the genjutsu had happened, resembling how he hadn't used his chakra for the snake technique yet. The sensations would feel quite real, and his memory of the genjutsu being used on him (if it was succesful) would be nearly faded, almost as if they were a dream where you can't recall 99% of what happened. It would seem almost like this was actually... real, and not a genjutsu. “I don't own the Sharingan yet, Shouken-senpai. But don't go easy on me. I am.. definetely...... capable.......” Slowly Saburo's words would get distorted more and more to the point where they became inaudible and simply sounded like someone screeching in Shouken's ears. Meanwhile the world would slowly fade away, with white 'edges' coming closer to the 2 chunin, the water slowly draining into the white abyss. If Shouken looked away from the water to, say, cover his ears to protect against the screeching sounds and looked upwards as a result, he would notice as soon as he looked back down that the water was then completely gone and they were standing on only a mudflat with nothing around them for miles. The white abyss would slowly fade away again and Saburo would become audible slowly ever more. “But even without the Sharingan, Shouken-senpai, I am a master of space-time ninjutsu. That is because I own the Rinnegan.” it would be now that Shouken could suddenly see, from this distance, that Saburo's eyes had become replaced with a rinnegan on each side, appearing so real that Shouken would probably just have to believe it. “And we are now in the middle of nowhere. Get ready, Shouken-senpai.. here I come.” Very slowly, almost not moving at all, Saburo would set one foot forwards, seemingly taking eons, ages, years to take 1 step forwards.. but when Shouken would ultimately blink, Saburo would suddenly be right behind him with a kunai at Shoukens throat, within an instance, with no chance to defend. All Saburo would say then, with that fake cheerful smile of his, was “Haha, I win, Shouken-senpai! Can we try again? Please?” with a childish voice. But before Shouken could even think of an answer the genjutsu would restart almost immediately, where they would be standing on the water again, before replaying in the exact same manner. Ofcourse this would only happen if Shouken only got caught in the genjutsu to begin with.
